Brian began his musical journey singing at his church at the age of 5. As he continued singing and leading worship services through the years he was struck by how deeply people were moved by music and lyrics. In his teen years he trained musically throughout junior high and high school participating in everything musical. This included a wide range of experiences such as playing trumpet and French horn in concert bands, marching bands and jazz band. Vocally he sang in choir, show choir, madrigals and various musicals. All of these musical styles from classical to jazz to theatrical to pop shaped his identity as an artist.
But he was also drawn towards playing rock n roll and picked up his first guitar at age 13. Ever since then Brian has been playing and singing in rock bands and mastering his guitar skills.
“Rock and roll music, if you like it, if you feel it, you can't help but move to it. That's what happens to me. I can't help it.” - Elvis Presley
Upon taking up the guitar at 13 and joining his first garage band, Brian discovered again the joy of an audience being moved by music the band performed and knew this is what he wanted to do with his life. In 1995 he earned a college degree in music and in 2003 he co founded his current band, Eutychus Falling. He recorded his first full length album with the band in 2005 co-writing all of the songs.
